Construction/destruction

Medium: painting/drawing

I am interested in the dialogue between natural processes and human intervention, and how both contribute to the shaping of our environment. Through abstract forms and layered compositions, the paintings evoke a sense of time passing, where traces of presence, erosion and change become visible.

In this way the work becomes a reflection on how humanity exists within a larger continuum. The paintings suggest that every generation adds its own layer to the world, leaving subtle marks that continue to resonate over time.
