Medium: Collage, painting/drawing and human interest
In my work I conduct an ongoing study through abstract painting and collage techniques. The process is driven by research into movement between people, how individuals approach one another, interact, connect or sometimes reject each other. Rather than depicting these moments literally, I translate them into abstract forms, gestures and spatial relationships.
Through layering, cutting and recombining materials, I build compositions in which shapes and fragments move across the surface. These elements act almost like humans. They come close, overlap, separate or resist each other, creating a visual language that reflects dynamics.
Colour plays an important role within this research. I explore how colours interact, support or disrupt one another, much like human relationships themselves. Some colours merge harmoniously while others create tension, contrast or distance.
