The noun flux
Medium: paint, graphic work, reconstructed image collage
This series emerges from a whirlpool of personal recollections and takes shape through paint and collage. In this work I return to the basics of being alone, questioning who we are outside of flux. The noun flux describes something that is constantly changing, a state in which our likes, dislikes, attitudes, dreams and even friendships are always shifting.
Through these works I reflect on that movement and the space that appears when it pauses. Being alone, in this sense, can also become a form of freedom.
