Medium: Collage, photography and human interest
My work begins with collage. By collecting and layering fragments, images and materials, I create compositions where unexpected connections can emerge. The process allows the materials to guide the work as much as my own intentions.
My artistic research explores how we position ourselves in relation to nature and how our actions leave traces for future generations. The way we shape landscapes and environments creates footprints that continue beyond our own time. By cutting and combining fragments from the past, I create speculative views of the future.
The collages bring together natural elements and human interventions, suggesting that the future is built from what already exists. The work reflects on memory, responsibility, and the traces we leave behind.
